The 10th Arts & Cultural Ganesh Festival of South Australia was celebrated on 30th and 31st August 2025 at AFL Max, near Adelaide Airport, in the City of West Torrens. Organised by the United Indians of South Australia (UIOSA), this milestone event once again brought the community together to celebrate the spirit of unity, devotion, and culture through the grand arrival of Lord Ganesh.
This year’s festival continued its tradition of spectacular celebrations with a beautifully adorned Ganesh idol, vibrant decorations, and a program that featured a diverse range of cultural performances. From traditional Indian classical dances and devotional music to energetic group acts and family friendly activities, the festival highlighted the cultural richness and inclusiveness of South Australias multicultural community.
Thousands of attendees came together across the two days to experience the joyful atmosphere, filled with music, colour, and festive spirit. Visitors enjoyed traditional Indian food stalls, artisan crafts, clothing, and community activities, all contributing to a lively environment that brought a touch of India to Adelaide. The event also offered community meals (mahaprasad) as a gesture of gratitude and inclusivity, ensuring that everyone felt part of the celebration.
